Wood has a long history within building houses, bridges, used for water supply and sewerage in the past until other building materials such as cement, concrete, bricks, took forward.
Undeservedly, wood started to be considered as a relatively short service life material. But now we can look into the history of Sweden, Canada, North America, and Scandinavia where wooden houses still are o the top when it is coming to the house building. There are houses counting their 600 to 700 years in Northern Russia.
Wood is not only excellent material that ensures good quality of life, it is also a natural, environmentally friendly raw material, resistant to heat and cold. Lately, wood is picking up on fashion trends: the designs that can be created using wood and modern technologies are roofing into another level of comfort and charm.
